Gas Range Cookers

Gas range cookers have a gas oven and a gas hob and therefore do not need any electricity. The main advantage with a gas range cooker is that the hob has instant heat that is also very finely controllable and so the best hobs are gas hobs.

The gas ovens are not so good though, they do not heat up as fast or provide as even a heat as the electric ovens. For this reason many people choose to buy a dual fuel range cooker as they have the gas hob and electric oven and this is by far the best combination.


There are circumstances where a 100% gas range cooker is needed though such as when you cannot get an electricity supply in the area that you wish to install the gas range cooker.
