LPG stands for Liquid Petroleum Gas and is a different type of gas that can be used in some range cookers but it is not as popular as the standard gas range cookers although it is an option if you do not have a standard gas supply.

Gas range cookers have a gas oven and a gas hob and therefore do not need any electricity. The main advantage with a gas range cooker is that the hob has instant heat that is also very finely controllable and so the best hobs are gas hobs.

The electric range cookers have an electric hob and oven and so do not use the gas supply at all. The great thing about an electric oven is that they are usually fan assisted and so heat up very quickly and also offer a very even heat and so the electric ovens are the best.
