There are several things that you need to consider when you buy a range cooker and they include:

Fuel
The fuels that are available are gas and electric and they both have advantages for the oven and the hob. The electric ovens heat up much faster than the gas ovens but the gas hobs heat up much faster than the electric hobs; for this reason there are dual fuel range cookers that have an electric oven and gas hob and these offer the best of both world's when it comes to heat up times and so the dual fuel range cookers are extremely popular.

Style
There are two distinct styles of range cooker and these are the traditional, old fashioned range cookers and the modern, contemporary range cookers. The style that you choose depends on your kitchen and so if you prefer a traditional look like a country kitchen then one of the traditional range cookers should be purchased but if you have a modern kitchen then you can buy a stainless steel range cooker which is very stylish in a modern kitchen.
